Sacredly Scarred

i am loved, i am accepted, i am forgiven, and i am pursed by the One true God who defeated death and rescued me from darkness.   A name is given to each of us at birth, mine is, Courtney. I have been undone by the hand of God since I was a young girl. I have been rewarded with a husband who is my best friend of 16 years, and 4 beautiful children. Three of those children grace me with their presence every day, and our youngest child, Tyler, was captured by heaven’s grip a year ago. I reach out to give those who endure any type of loss and pain the hope of Christ alone. Being sustained by Love in the midst of suffering has altered my lenses to see only the unraveling of God’s intimate love story for me. My prayer is that you see the powerful work of God in the midst of your pain; all the while trusting Him without fully understanding, receiving His love with a surrendered heart, accepting His pursuit of you during your darkest hours, and fully anticipating tremendous growth despite the scars.
